The food in our nurserys for your children's meals is 100% organic.
This organic and healthy food is an integral part of our educational commitments. The high quality of our meals also serves as a support for the development and environmental awareness of the little ones.

Our commitments on the organic food of our nurserys

Our commitments constitute a 5-point food charter for children and their parents:

• Our childcare facilities are committed to providing the best for the health and well-being of your children on a daily basis, in particular through healthy food from organic farming.
• Food is a fundamental basis for promoting children's discovery and experimentation while meeting their nutritional needs.
• The safety of your children is our priority. This also applies to the food in our nurserys. The menus respect special diets and our experts guarantee the traceability of the food.
• Meals are made from fresh, local produce. Fruits and vegetables are seasonal and of high quality.
• The dishes offered in our nurserys are an opportunity for discovery and new experiences. We vary the tastes and textures for the culinary awakening of the little ones.
   

The quality of our organic meals

Our organic and balanced meals are developed by a dietician to meet the nutritional needs of children according to their age. She also designs menus for special diets.
We use local, fresh and Fairtrade products.
The fish is mainly MSC labeled or from sustainable fishing. Most of the meat also comes from organic farming. We are committed to having our host structures certified by the “Sou Schmaacht Lëtzebuerg” certification from the Chamber of Agriculture and the Ministry of Agriculture. This certification aims to promote local products and regional food by giving them more visibility.

The educational relay

Food in our nurserys is an important educational base.
Our early childhood staff organizes this educational relay around 3 axes:

• Taste, by discovering original recipes and organizing cooking workshops.
• Health, by developing the right food reflexes in the little ones.
• The planet, to make children aware of organic and sustainable food.

A Luxembourg mascot, called Pooky, accompanies babies and children in their culinary discoveries and in learning the ecological rules to respect.
Every month, a gastronomic event is organized on site. A fruit or a vegetable is thus put in the spotlight. In addition, every year, cooking workshops are organized, as well as excursions related to organic food. Finally, 3 meetings are scheduled to raise the awareness of the children welcomed in our structures to the protection of the environment.
