In KidsCare daycares in Luxembourg, spaces are designed to meet the needs, skills, and interests of the children. Games and toys are tailored to the size and abilities of each age group, ensuring they can move freely. Our goal? To allow 1-year-old babies to move and engage in activities safely. Psychomotor modules, awakening games, and sensory toys are a key focus.
Psychomotricity modules
Our psychomotor modules are particularly suited for young children. In the groups welcoming 1-year-old babies, there are specially designed mats. Children will be able to practise their motor skills and learn to walk thanks to grab bars. Non-walking children enjoy a secure space. Babies can also use pull and push toys, a sensory ball to manipulate, and anything that helps them meet their needs. Everything is accessible to them, with materials placed at their height on shelves or open furniture.
Our educational games
To stimulate babies, we have a variety of educational toys and games. Each game is designed to ensure that the child is never set up for failure and can experience as much as possible. In the younger groups, identical toys are provided to minimize conflicts and frustration, which also allows adults to offer their suggestions. Among these, there are construction games, including stacking toys.
Our 100% eco-friendly wooden toys
Boys and girls of 1-year-old can have fun with our 100% eco-friendly wooden pieces. Most of the toys in our daycare centers are made from FSC or PEFC certified wood. We are committed to ensuring that our materials respect the environment.
Snoezelen method
Snoezelen is a method aimed at developing children's multisensory abilities in spaces designed to foster serenity. Soft music, musical instruments, stuffed animals and dolls, colored lights, and the discovery of new flavors are all part of the experience!
