As part of our development, we are recruiting a Management Officer (M/F) speaking French and English en Permanent for our Kidscare nursery and day care center located in Merle.

General missions:
- Guarantee the operational excellence of your nursery and/or home
- Manage, organize and support your team in order to achieve set objectives
- Welcoming children and families in the spirit of the business project (Tomorrow Starts Now) and respecting the legal framework set by Luxembourg institutions
Main responsibilities:
Manage your team in the spirit of the company project and the management framework (see Management Boss Leader Coach Training)
- Transmit and bring to life the business project and the educational and CAG project
- Through its presence in the field, provide support to the team by adopting professional know-how in the face of all situations encountered
- Work in complementarity and implement a clear delegation with his/her co-manager
- Welcome each professional with kindness and ensure their good integration into the team (onboarding)
- Inspire, lead and support team dynamics (regular team meetings, quality of interpersonal relationships, etc.)
- Transmit and explain the company's decisions and directions to the team
- Develop and provide development prospects to each member of the team (annual interviews, training, etc.)
- Reframe inappropriate behavior and contact the operational/HR manager if necessary
- Welcoming interns
Implement and monitor legal and internal procedures
- Guarantee and monitor the application of hygiene, health and safety procedures (safety register, cleaning plan, medical protocol, individual reception project, etc.)
- Inventory management and meal orders
Welcoming children and families in the spirit of the business project and within the national reference framework
- Offer individualized care for children
- Ensure a safe environment for the child
- Promote the awakening and socialization of children
- Support and train your team to deal with different relational situations with children and families
- Carry out preventive action by identifying children or families in difficulty and taking appropriate measures (in conjunction with the education center)
- Transmit medical information to the country's contact nurse
- Ensure the safety and psychological, emotional and physical well-being of young children according to internal procedures and regulations in force (medical protocols, security measures, etc.)
- Is subject to professional secrecy, like all professionals working in an establishment under the control of the MENJE.
Building and implementing the National Reference Framework for non-formal education
- Write and/or adapt the general action concept
- Ensure its implementation and readjustment
- Get the whole team to buy into the educational and CAG project
- Comply with the obligations of the legal framework in terms of education (logbook, continuing education, PPL, national reference framework, etc.) (Cf: quality assurance instrument)
- Position the educational referent as relay and guarantor of the educational project in the field
- Encourage continuing training and the sharing of good teaching practices (activities, space arrangements, etc.)
Ensure the operational functioning, administrative management of the structure while ensuring compliance with deadlines and the balance between economic and social dimensions.
Work in collaboration with people at headquarters and in particular with the operational manager
- Use your manager and business support wisely
- Regularly transmit information on the life of the structure to headquarters to continuously improve the group's operating methods.
- Actively participate in sector meetings by sharing knowledge and experience and contribute to an enriching and caring group dynamic among peers.
- Must also respect a duty of reserve concerning the activity of the crèche, society Babilou Family and professionals who practice there.
Ensure the successful completion of family visits in conjunction with the Sales team
Contribute to the development of Babilou Family

Your profile :
- You have obtained a diploma giving you access to the profession educator in Luxembourg (State Diploma of Educator, EJE, Specialized Educator, Belgian Educator Diploma A1 and A2, MEEF Master, Belgian Childcare Diploma, Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Education, ...);
- You have minimum 3 years of experience in the field of early childhood and non-formal education;
- You get a very good command of French and English, any other language will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of the needs and development of young children;
- The ability to work in a team (#teamspirit) and to communicate effectively;
- You demonstrate kindness, creativity, curiosity and respect;
- You are flexible, organized and dynamic.
